Target Audience

Usability Testing Project Timing

Pre-Development

There is never an inappropriate time to undertake Usability Testing. Usability Testing is valuable before a small/medium development phase because it flags issues beforehand, thus preventing organisations from having to revisit development later on. Websites that are going to be built from the ground up, should consider post-development Usability Testing instead.

Post-Development

Most Usability Testing occurs at the post-development phase, especially when there are plans for a second, smaller development phase to refine the website.
